About the tour
Trek through the lush rainforest of Gunung Leuser National Park. On Day 1, you will be picked up in Medan and transferred by car to Bukit Lawang. Stay at Junia Guesthouse in a deluxe room with stunning views of the garden, river, and jungle, where you can relax and enjoy the afternoon’s tranquility. On Day 2, you’ll depart for a 6 to 7-hour jungle trek, where you’ll have the chance to encounter orangutans, gibbons, and other exotic wildlife. After your jungle adventure, enjoy an exhilarating tube-rafting experience down the Bohorok River. On Day 3, you’ll explore local villages by tuk-tuk or bicycle, learning about daily rural life. Enjoy a BBQ picnic at the Landak River and explore Bat Cave, before being transferred back to your accommodation.
