About the tour
A day immersed in beautiful nature awaits. You will be picked up from your hotel around 9 AM. The first stop is the local market in Gunung Sari, where you can experience the lively morning atmosphere and see local vendors selling their goods. Here, you can also buy some nuts or bananas to feed the monkeys. Next, head to Pusuk Forest Peak, a tropical forest area home to many monkeys. Afterward, visit Gondong Village to explore agricultural lands, where you can walk through rice fields and observe local farmers at work. The journey continues with a visit to the traditional village of Bayan to learn about the community’s unique way of life. A short drive takes you to Senaru Village, where a brief 15-minute hike leads to Sendang Gile Waterfall. After another 30-minute hike, you’ll reach Tiu Kelep Waterfall, the highest in Lombok, with its stunning cascades. This water flows from the forested crater of Mount Rinjani and passes through an irrigation cave constructed by the Dutch when they occupied northern Lombok centuries ago. On the way back, you’ll pass by this historical irrigation tunnel. After enjoying the waterfalls, your driver will take you back to your hotel.
