About the tour
Batur volcano sunrise trek and relaxation experience. At 02:00 AM you will be picked up in Ubud. By around 03:45, you’ll begin your hike to the summit of Batur, standing at 1,717 meters above sea level. The trek covers approximately 9 km round trip and takes around 2 hours to reach the top. As you ascend this active volcano, keep an eye out for steam rising from hot spots at the summit, where temperatures can exceed 100 degrees Celsius. At the summit, enjoy a unique breakfast experience as you cook eggs and bananas in the volcanic sand. After breakfast, you will descend via a different route. After returning to the car, unwind at the natural hot springs at Batur. The water, heated by volcanic rocks to about 35-37 degrees Celsius, is famous for its natural medicinal properties for skin issues. Your last stop before heading back to your hotel will be a visit to a coffee plantation. Around 11:00 AM, you will be back.
