About the tour
Discover the heart of Borneo’s lush rainforests with an unforgettable adventure in Tanjung Puting National Park. A private car will pick you up in the morning in Pangkalan Bun and will bring you to the boat. Cruise along the serene Sekonyer River, where you’ll encounter the park’s incredible wildlife, including orangutans, gibbons, and proboscis monkeys. Observe orangutans in their natural habitat at various feeding stations while gaining insights into Kalimantan’s unique ecosystem from your knowledgeable guide. After sunset, enjoy an evening walk accompanied by a ranger. Spot wildlife such as birds, spiders, centipedes, and glowing mushrooms, and even carnivorous plants. Sleep under the stars on a traditional “klotok” boat, immersed in the sounds of the jungle. After the tour finished in the morning the private car will bring you back to Pangkalan Bun.
