About the tour
At 07.00, a driver will come to pick you up from where you’re staying, and take you to the cave, which is about 1.5 hours away. At 09.30, your adventure starts at the Jomblang vertical cave. You’ll be lowered down into the well, and then you can walk along a muddy trail to get to the cave. The path might be slippery, even with boots, so it’s important to have a torch to see in the dark. After walking for about 10-15 minutes, you’ll reach the entrance of the cave, where the light shining through is really beautiful. Descend into the dark cave and see the amazing views of the morning light inside the cave. Around 13.00, you’ll have lunch, and then drive for about 45 minutes to the Pindul Cave. When you arrive at the base camp of Pindul Cave, you’ll get ready to explore the cave. You’ll be guided by a guide as you enter the cave floating on a tube. You’ll feel like you’ve gone back in time 100 years, everything is still natural. You’ll see cave animals, directly observe cave bats, and admire the sunlight coming into the cave. You’ll also find stones formed from water droplets. After cave tubing, the driver will take you back to your accommodation in Yogyakarta in the late afternoon.
The price is based on a private tour for a minimum of 2 persons
